PocketKnife Peek is an Outlook add-in for screening your e-mail as plain text before opening it in Outlook. The add-in can be used to view all Outlook message formats, but is aimed particularly at averting the threats lurking in HTML mail. A convenient tabbed view lets you easily examine the:
  • Message in plain text,
  • HTML source (if any), 
  • Internet header, and
  • Attachments.

  • PocketKnife Peek is a COM add-in that works with Outlook 2000 or later. It is compatible with any version of Windows capable of running the corresponding version of Outlook.
  • If you are still using Outlook 2000, PocketKnife Peek works with both Outlook configurations: Internet Mail Only (IMO) and Corporate/ Workgroup (C/W). (These two categories are combined on Outlook 2002 and later.)
  • You do not need to install PocketKnife in order to run PocketKnife Peek.
