Installation

  1. Exit from Outlook
  2. Double-click on the PocketKnife Peek setup program (PeekSetup.exe) to install the add-in.
  3. Restart Outlook.
  4. A new Peek button will be located
  • on the Add-Ins tab and on the context menu (Outlook 2010, 32-bit), or
Peek button on Add-ins tab Context menu
  • on the far right of the Standard toolbar (Outlook 2000 - Outlook 2007)

  1. Click on the Peek button to view the selected message as plain text.
  2. See the online Help if you receive an error during installation or if you do not see the Peek button. From the Windows Start menu, click on Programs, then PocketKnife Peek, and finally PocketKnife Peek Help.

From the PocketKnife Peek window, click the Help menu, then About, to see which version is installed.

You do not need to uninstall a prior version before installing an update. However, you must first exit from Outlook.
