- New option for fast playlist creation and dead track detection. Dramatic increase in the speed with which iTunes Toolkit creates new playlists and searches for dead tracks. As an additional benefit, when this feature is enabled, iTunes Toolkit also displays the full path where iTunes expected to find the missing file. This feature requires iTunes 7.7 or newer.
- Dead track repair. In addition to faster dead track detection, iTunes Toolkit can now help you repair dead tracks, without any loss of ratings or other track-related information. This feature requires iTunes 8.1 or newer.
